(1) The only way it qualifies as being "Portable" is that there are 2 handholds built into the platform. On the plus side, it does break down very easily into several pieces, this thing is HEAVY! It has to be in order to be a stable platform. (2) It needs "end caps" on the three legs so that they will not become plugged with dirt/grass/mud. It is STABLE and sturdy and provides an outstanding shooting platform. I was expecting something that was much more flimsy and got a rock solid, convenient platform for all types of long range shooting. It can be used bench rest style or for hunging varmints. With an appropriate ground blind, it can even be used for game hunting of all types. I'm impressed. Easy to assemble, easy to use. It is a bit heavy for a long trek, but if the will is there, it can be carried in just about anywhere. If you can't tell, I'm VERY happy with it. Great value. |
