Just like the Pull Sled I bought previous, this sled is built with quality and looks great! Unlike other wood sleds the Lucky Bums sled comes with a pad, it's not an extra charge! Great Value and Great Product! Thanks Lucky Bums for your quality products!  Nice, even though rough, This review is from: Lucky Bums Heirloom Collection Wooden Toboggan (72-Inch) (Sports) The sled looks and feels durable and it is clearly made with quality, boiled wood. The pad on it also looks of decent quality, but it is tied directly to the rope and with relatively rigid ties so that I thought they might untie over time - I secured all six of them with little black elastic pieces, which actually accent the 'boggon. The ends of the rope were freely hanging out, so those too I glued flat onto the wooden piece. Finally, the front plate isn't exactly straight (no big deal) and some of the workmanship was rough (stripped screws and one naturally cracked wood plank(shouldn't have been used)).Overall I recommend, because with minor improvements I made, the sled should last a lifetime - the wood is skinny thus light, but sturdy and hard due to tempering. Frankly, with the price tag of about $200 and Eddie Bauer's endorsement, it should have easily come with the improvements that I made myself, which many simply won't do.
